No, no, no! Do not blow compressed air through backflow. Can damage backflow. Connect compressor downstream of Backflow. Also, all bacflow valves at half open 40 degree angle including test cocks.

You're using your channel locks upside down, turn then over and they will lock.

Spot on. The Apple adapter is basically the ONLY licensed product that will allow HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) video output. It absolutely ridiculous that as an owner of an iPhone or whatever device along with being a paid subscriber of such streaming services that I am controlled on what device I can watch them on. What a sad time.

Do the RCA cable adapters that plug straight into the phone not work for this situation or does it have to have the HDMI adaptor?

Broke the top clips of the black panel and its no longer flush, probably will have water intrusion from the top now? Is it okay? or should I really hurry to try to obtain the top retainer clip

Note: There's a sharp thing under the lense (housing) that if you pull it wrong slight downward, it will scratch the mdx . Happened to me 😢...so make sure to slide it out correctly.

Thank you for this video and the one on making the grooming arm. I was looking at the cost of a brand new one off over $150 or more damaged and used at $50 or more it was too expensive for my 3 little dogs, a Yorkie to a Lhasa Apso your plans look steady enough.

According to the manual, you can remove the engine cover and use the engine hanger as a ground when jump starting.

Thanks for posting this. It’s -25 C here and the battery is stone cold dead. You think they would put a ground tab somewhere in that area. I wonder what they would recommend for a suitable ground.

Please can you help me i need to be able to play my android phone on to an old crt tv. I wanted to just use some kind of adapter cables to just plug my phone straight to the TV with wires. Ive been reading stuff and a lot of anycast wireless dongles cast your phone but cant cast netflix or.other like apps throught the mirror process.

This would absolutely not work with any dog that has a difficult time holding still. But you can often find used equipment on Facebook marketplace, and such. I got a 48 inch overhead arm for 20 bucks from somebody who decided they couldn’t handle grooming their own dog anymore.

When connect to the spigot there’s not enough pressure to close the vacuum breaker, it’s rated at 175psi. I had to to connect to the small valve after the breaker.

Why do you need to keep recharging the compressor? As long as you have the output set for the proper PSI it is all automatic no?

Nope, nope, nope. Sprinkler winterizing cannot be done properly with such a small air compressor. CFM is the only thing that matters, you have to have enough air flow to get behind the water and push (generally no less than 12cfm). An air compressor such as yours has around 4cfm, this causes the air to "float" over the water in the pipe at a certain point, giving the impression that the line has been purged. You may be getting away with doing it this way for a few reasons but most will not be so lucky. Considering the cost involved repairing damages it's irresponsible of you to post this vid as if you know what you are talking about.

You didn’t mention anything about what you used for the blow out valve and where you connected the compressor.

Dave why turn off the compressor before blowing out each zone? Why not allow the compressor to make up some air while blowing out the zone? You're the second person to suggest this - I'm just trying to understand why. Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for this video DIY DAVE! I blew out my irrigation system today and followed your instructions to the letter. I am a plumbing contractor so the process makes total sense to me and of course I have all of the tools to perform this, but I have never had an irrigation system until now in my current home, so this video helped tremendously. I blew out my 7 zones in about 45 minutes and saved $85. Not a bad way to spend 45 minutes on a beautiful afternoon (I ate ice cream and watched videos in my garage while my 15 gallon compressor refilled).
